To create a Web-service alias, just enter its fully qualified domain name, the alias that you want to assign to it, and any username and password required for authentication; then click the Update Web Service button. In Figure 25-2, for example, we re assigning the alias wsPartners to the Web service that you just built and tested. Figure 25-2: Creating an alias for your Web service.
